Kind, fast, reliable food, open and usually never a line. Sit in comfort or dine fast. Cosmic diner has a vibe of good neighbors. Breakfast or a quick snack!

I want to put in a rave about their side salad. I discovered it when I ordered a full dinner, have since ordered it alone, mid afternoon. Dark greens, cherry tomatoes, ripe olives, cucumber, onion, green pepper. Mid afternoon it's very quiet there, the food is excellent, the service superb-- but I'd like to suggest you start with that salad...

News flash! This place is open till midnight. Good place for after the Broadway show for a really late dinner or snack supper. It's far enough away from 42nd St so it isn't mass packed with all types of humanity. I had breakfast. They have rye bread which was a find. Nothing fancy but it was a really nice find on a night in NYC.

Very nice diner in a convenient location with a good selection of food options and good quality and delicious meals.

Came by after watching the MJ play and got a Cobb Salad to go. The host who took my order was very nice and helpful. The salad itself was delicious, it had a good amount of chicken, bacon, olives and blue cheese.

Very quick service and delicious food. Diner with plenty of food options for everyone. The French toast was fluffy and delicious

Nice place for a first lunch in New York on this trip. We were walking around until our room was ready, and found this place on 8th Avenue. The menu was diverse, so we gave it a whirl. First off, there is a wide variety of food, and breakfast is served 24 hours. Take a moment to look at the walls, which are covered with show bills, signed by the actors of Broadway. Nice ambiance! For lunch, we both ordered their Cosmic Pressini, which was served with a healthy portion of seasoned chicken, along with avocado, fresh spinach, and honey mustard topping, which we both ordered with fries. The fries were nice and hot when served. Very fresh, as were the sandwiches. Very tasty, the bread was just the right crispiness. If you use credit cards, they up the bill by 4% to make up for the credit card company fees. All in all, it was a good visit.

A pretty solid diner in the area. I was craving breakfast for dinner and opted for a waffle and eggs. It was super simple and exactly what I wanted. The service was good and everything came out hot and fast. I really loved that they had a bunch of theatre posters on the walls signed from Broadway casts. That was a cool touch. Overall if you want decent diner food in the area, I'd say this is a good spot. 4/5
